What This Module Is about
In this module, we learn about the kings God chose, the prophets He sent, and how important it is to listen to God’s voice.
Lesson 1
Why Did Israel Have Kings?
God’s people wanted a king like other nations had.
God allowed this, but He wanted their king to lead with kindness, obedience, and faith.
Some kings followed God’s ways, and some did not.
Lesson 2
What Is a Prophet?
A prophet is someone God chose to speak His messages.
Prophets reminded people to turn back to God when they forgot His ways.
They spoke truth, even when it was hard.
Lesson 3
Listening to God Matters
God speaks through His Word, through prayer, and through His guidance.
When people listened, they were blessed.
When they ignored Him, life became harder.
God always wants to guide His people with love.
Lesson 4
God Never Stops Reaching Out
Even when kings failed and people made mistakes, God kept reaching out.
He sent prophets to warn, guide, and encourage.
God’s heart has always been to bring His people back to Him.
