Module 4

God’s Promises and His People

What this module is about

In this module, we gently learn:

  • What God’s promises are

  • Who God’s people are

  • How God keeps his promises over time

  • Why waiting is sometimes part of faith

You do not need to remember everything.
This is just about becoming familiar.

Lesson 1

What Is a Promise?

A promise is when someone says,
“I will do this,”
and means it.

In the Bible, God makes promises to people.

God promises things like:

  • To be with his people

  • To care for them

  • To guide them

  • To keep loving them

God’s promises are not rushed.
They are steady.

Lesson 2

Who Are God’s People?

God’s people are not perfect people.

They are:

  • Ordinary people

  • People who make mistakes

  • People who feel unsure

  • People who need help

God chose people to walk with him,
not because they were perfect,
but because he loved them.

You do not have to be “good enough”
to belong to God.

Lesson 3

How God Keeps His Promises

Sometimes God’s promises take time.

This can feel hard.

But God works slowly and carefully.

In the Bible, we see:

  • Promises given

  • Waiting

  • Trust growing

  • Promises fulfilled

God does not forget.
God does not change his mind.

God is faithful, even when things take time.

Lesson 4

What to Do While You Are Waiting

Waiting can feel uncomfortable.

But waiting does not mean nothing is happening.

While you wait, you can:

  • Keep reading gently

  • Keep asking simple questions

  • Keep trusting one small step at a time

  • Keep resting when you need to

You are not expected to rush.
You are allowed to pause.

God is patient with you.

Gentle Truth (Module 4)

You are not forgotten.
You are not overlooked.

God’s promises are still for you.

Even when you are waiting,
God is still working.

Slow does not mean wrong.
