Module 3
Who God Is
What this module is about
In this module, we gently learn:
Who God says he is
Why God feels hard to understand sometimes
How to get to know God in a simple, steady way
What to do when you feel unsure
There is no pressure to “get it” all at once.
This is just about becoming familiar.
Lesson 1
Who Is God?
God is not a mystery you must solve.
God is a person you can come to.
The Bible shows God as:
Creator (he made everything)
Father (he cares and leads)
King (he has authority)
Helper (he supports and strengthens)
You do not need perfect words.
You can start with a simple thought like:
“God, I want to know you.”
Lesson 2
What God Is Like
Sometimes people imagine God as harsh or far away.
But the Bible shows God as:
Good
Patient
Kind
Faithful
Just (he does what is right)
God does not change like people change.
He stays steady.
If you are unsure, you are allowed to learn slowly.
God is not offended by your questions.
Lesson 3
Why God Can Feel Hard to Understand
Sometimes God feels hard to understand because:
The Bible uses old language
You are learning something new
You have been hurt or disappointed before
You are trying to understand everything at once
This does not mean you are doing anything wrong.
You are allowed to:
Read one small section
Re-read the same passage
Ask simple questions
Take breaks
God is not rushing you.
Lesson 4
How to Get to Know God (Gently)
You do not have to do big things to know God.
Small steps are enough.
Try one gentle habit:
Read one verse a day
Write one line about what you notice
Speak to God in your own words
Choose one truth to hold onto
A simple prayer can be:
“God, help me understand you.”
“God, show me what you are like.”
“God, stay close to me today.”
God can meet you in small moments.
Gentle Truth (Module 3)
You are not behind.
You are not failing.
You are learning who God is—slowly and safely.
God is not asking you to perform.
God is inviting you to know him.
One small step is still a step.
